Ms. Mickens is the dedicated high school counselor for the Class of 2021. She attended William Paterson University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in English. She received her Master’s degree in School Counseling from New Jersey City University. She joined MPTCHS in 2019. This is her 5th year of service as a school counselor. She began her career at Cristo Rey Newark High School, where she was a counselor to the 11th and 12th grade students! She enjoys being a school counselor and is thankful to have the opportunity to help shape the lives of the future.
