Lincoln Farquharson is currently a board member and Chief Strategy Officer for Real World Academy, Inc (RWA). He also serves in the role of Vice President of Instruction and Client Services, directly overseeing the Newark College Institute, one of many college institutes in development by RWA. The college institutes provide professional development training and career exploration primarily for college students. Lincoln also serves as the Vice Chair of the Marion P. Thomas Charter School; the founder and Executive Producer of the Newark Culture Con, a convention that celebrates diversity, representation, and inclusion in comic books and pop culture; and is the co-founder and Editor-In-Chief of FarCorners Studios, a comic book publishing company headquartered in Newark, NJ. Originally from Atlantic City, NJ, Lincoln is the first of eight. Lincoln attended Holy Spirit High School, Atlantic City High School, and graduated from Wiesbaden High School in Wiesbaden, Germany. He went on to join the US Navy, serving on the USS Ross (DDG 71). When he returned from active duty, he enrolled at Atlantic Cape Community College, transferred to New Jersey City University, and then graduated from the Rutgers University – Newark and New Brunswick Business School, receiving his bachelor’s degree in management, and Rutgers University – Newark School of Public Affairs and Administration, receiving his master’s degree in public administration.
