Briana is a charter school alumna passionate about ensuring all students have access to the best education. She is an experienced communications professional with an expertise in digital marketing and public relations. Briana previously worked as a political communications coordinator for Walton Enterprises. She also served as the Press Assistant for the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. She has participated in many school choice panels. Some of the places she has spoken at are ExcelinEd, National Charter School Conference, the U.S. Department of Education and the White House. Briana graduated from Rutgers University with two Bachelors of Arts in Public Policy and Africana studies. She is currently enrolled in Rutgers Business School pursuing a Master's of Science in Digital Marketing. Gilchrist sits on the Board of Trustees for her alma mater Marion P. Thomas Charter School and chairs the alumni committee. She currently resides in Washington D.C.
