Dr. Walker Keenan, MD (he/him) is a psychiatrist training to work with children and teens. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor with advanced training in treating psychological problems with medication and therapy. He grew up in a suburb of Boston, MA called Sharon. He then went to the College of William and Mary where he studied neuroscience and public health. After college he went to medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and then residency training in psychiatry at Yale University. He is now working at Montefiore Medical Center to complete his training. His interests are in working with young people specifically Black and brown folks and people who identify as LGBTQIA+.
